Kaitlyn Larsen held onto the top spot in the Non-Pro, while Missy Oehlhof led the Limited Non-Pro after the second day of Super Stakes Classic competition presented by XTO Energy in Fort Worth, Monday.
Larsen’s 219 on Sir Stylish Lizzy put her on top of a deep field of non-pros. From the top 15 scores, there are 12 riders who have won championships in historic Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum.
Sir Stylish Lizzy is a 6-year-old gelding by Lizzys Gotta Player. Larsen was also tied for 19th after the second day of the go-round on Light N Lily, by Light N Lena.
In the Limited Non-Pro, Missy Oehlhof of Bush, Louisiana, leads with a 217 on Takes Alotta Faith, after riding first in her set on the first day of competition.
Oehlhof bred the 5-year-old mare by Kit Dual out of Alotta Merada Style, a Docs Stylish Oak mare that took her to third place in the Amateur Super Stakes in 2006.
Takes Alotta Faith has earned more than $47,000. Last year, Oehlhof won both the Non-Pro and the Limited Non-Pro titles on her at The Non-Pro and The Open Cutting.
