Collbran Blue Larsen of Gruver, Texas marked 220 Monday on his homebred mare, Kay Jay Wilson, to take the first-round lead in both the Non-Pro and Limited Non-Pro divisions of the XTO Energy NCHA Super Stakes in Fort Worth.

Larsen, who is sitting second in the Senior Youth World Standings with DS Mrs Wilsonfreckle, bred Kay Jay Wilson by Wilsons Lil Freckles out of Fajitas Kay. The sorrel mare was a Limited Non-Pro semi-finalist at the NCHA Futurity and had earned over $5,500 prior to the Super Stakes.

Julie Hansma marked 219 on Roxy Roan, by One Time Pepto, for the second high score in the Non-Pro division, followed by Darren Blanton and Chad Bushaw with 218s on Short N Smooth, by Smooth As A Cat, and Johnny Text, by One Time Pepto, respectively.

Sheri Matthews marked 219 on One Time Caballero, by One Time Pepto, for the second high score in the Limited division. NCHA Futurity Limited Non-Pro champion Jo Anne Carollo is next with a 217.5 on What A Rey, by TR Dual Rey.

The first round of Non-Pro/Limited competition continues Tuesday, followed by the Open Gelding Stakes finals.
