Playboys Ruby, who died earlier this year at 24 years, has produced 32 foals.

The Smart Look, sired by Smart Little Lena out of Dox Royal Smoke, is owned by Strawn Valley Ranch, Strawn, Tex., which also owns the young sire Dual Smart Rey, earner of over $330,000, and full brother to The Smart Look’s latest foal.

Dual Smart Rey, whose second crop includes 2012 Tunica Futurity champion Rey N Style, is among The Smart Look’s 14 NCHA money earners, to date. Altogether, they have earned more than $1.2 million and include 2003 NCHA Futurity champion One Smart Lookin Cat.

In addition to The Smart Look’s colt, Strawn Valley also recently welcomed a Dual Rey filly out of Smart Look Classic, who is a clone (the only one) of The Smart Look.
