Imirage, who sold for $285,000 as a yearling at the NCHA Futurity Sales, won the Brazos Bash Futurity on October 1, under Lloyd Cox. The Dual Rey daughter, out of NCHA world champion Bet Yer Blue Boons, is owned by Stan Thomas’ Three Trees Ranch, Newman, GA. The 219-point win, Imirage’s first, earned her $17,000. She previously placed tenth in the West Texas Futurity with Cox.

Gary Gonsalves claimed second and third places riding Senator Spoonful (217.5), owned by David and Stacie McDavid, and Dual Orleans (215.5), owned by Dees Cattle Ltd.

Imirage, bred by Oxbow Ranch, Weatherford, TX, and Ruby Reyn, consigned by Waco Bend Ranch, Fort Worth, TX, were the high selling yearlings at $285,000 during the 2006 NCHA Futurity Sales. Ruby Reyn out of #2 all-time leading producer Playboys Ruby, was also purchased by Stan Thomas.
