Little Baby Sister will become the first dam of the cutting horse earners of over $1 million, when she is offered as part of Bobby Pidgeon’s Bar H Ranche Absolute Dispersal. The sale will be included in the NCHA Summer Spectacular Sale, held on the weekend of the NCHA Derby Finals at Will Rogers Equestrian Center, July 29-30, 2011.

Little Baby Sister is the dam of cutting’s #2 all-time money earner, Sister CD, with $820,574, as well as five other substantial money earners. She will be sold with a filly at side by Third Cutting and an ET for 2012 by Metallic Cat.

Sister CD, by CD Olena and out of Little Baby Sister, by Dual Pep, is a product of Bar H Ranche’s golden Dual Pep-CD Olena cross.

Bobby Pidgeon purchased Dual Pep in 1990, the same year that he bred the outstanding show mare CD Chica San Badger to Doc O’Lena. The result of the mating was CD Olena, who Winston Hansma would show for Bar H Ranche to win the 1994 NCHA Futurity.

Two of the 1994 NCHA Futurity Open and five of the Non-Pro finalists were sired by Dual Pep, including two that Pidgeon showed in the Non-Pro. It was the beginning of a brilliant career. Dual Pep rose to the top of NCHA sire charts year-after-year and his offspring, along with those of CD Olena, would make Bar H Ranche an annual leader in the category of top owners of money earners.

At the end of 2010, Dual Pep ranked fifth among all-time leading sires of NCHA money earners with over $22 million; CD Olena ranked tenth with over $13 million; and Bar H Ranche ranked second among all-time leading breeders of NCHA Money earners with $8.9 million.
