After a promising Sale of 2-Year-Olds on December 9, with a substantial increase in average price over the 2008 event, the NCHA Futurity Sales in Fort Worth softened to reflect the trend at this year’s earlier events.

Through Saturday, December 12, with five of six days of sales completed, 711 head lots have sold for an actual average of $12,423.  Last year’s final results for a total of 1120 lots reflected an average of $13,688.
