Amanda Pearl Bruce Ware, 91, mother of cutting horse bloodline expert and Western Bloodstock sale company director Jim Ware, passed away on Thursday, October 29 in Rayville, LA.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, at Cedar Baptist Church in Archibald, LA, followed by interment at Rayville MasonicCemetery.

“Miss Pearl” married Terry Ford Ware on February 4, 1937. The couple owned and operated a grocery store in Dehlco, LA, and later acquired multiple agriculture related businesses, including cotton gins, feed mills, implement dealerships and livestock auctions. Mr.Warepassed away in 1975.
