Thursday, December 5, the fourth day of the 2024 NCHA Futurity Sales, produced by Western Bloodstock, featured two sale sessions that added 10 more $100,000-plus purchases to bring the week’s current total to 70 horses sold for six-figures or more.

Unreyl, consigned by Holmes Performance Horses LLC/Linda Holmes, topped Session II of the Preferred Sale selling to Rodger and Stephanie Clark, Fountain Inn, SC, for $230,000.

The yearling Badboonarising stallion is half-brother to multiple champions Steel Betty LTE $206,845, by Metallic Cat, and Roasting LTE $132,009, by Hottish. Their dam, Betty Greyble LTE $51,749, by Stylish Rey, has produced seven money earners of $467,075, and her dam, High Brows Nurse LTE $138,460, the producer of earners of $734,535, is a half-sister to Dual Rey, a $50 million-dollar sire, as well as sire of sires and producing daughters.

Metallic Red Porche, by Metallic Cat, topped the Rocking P Ranch Production Sale at $250,000.

The Rocking P Ranch Annual Production Sale, which realized an average of $48,563 on 48 horses, saw Metallic Red Porsche, a red roan yearling filly by Metallic Cat, top all tickets, with $250,000 from Linda Werner, Weatherford, TX.

Owned by Rocking P Ranch, Metallic Cat, is the leading sire of earners of over $72 million and also the sponsor of the 2024 NCHA World Championship Futurity. Cinca De Maya LTE $107,750, a Dual Rey daughter and the dam of Metallic Red Porsche, has produced 15 money earners of $1,142,958.
