Mary Jo Milner of Southlake, Tex. won her first NCHA Non-Pro Reserve World Championship before most of her rivals in this year’s 7 Ranch NCHA World Finals were born. And she’s won more Non-Pro World Championships than anyone, anywhere.

That didn’t keep her from posting a career-high 230 on Duramax Dually in the third round of the event at Fort Worth’s Watt Arena on Thursday, November 3.

Elizabeth Quirk, who has a lock on the World Championship, placed second in the round with a 226 on Reystylin Smooth. Ali Good was third with a 221.5 on Cat Atat Cat.

Milner has been in the NCHA Top Ten 33 times, was Reserve World Champion with Chico Gann back in 1973. Since then, she’s been World Champion 8 times, and Reserve 6 more times. She’s a Non-Pro Hall of Fame earner of $2.8 million.

With one round, plus a pencil finals remaining, Megan Miller is leading the World Finals race by $1,690 over Elizabeth Quirk, but there are plenty of contenders still in that race.

Quirk has an insurmountable lead of more than $18,000 for the World Championship.

The final round of the World Finals will be held Saturday.
