The Evening Session, on Monday, Dec. 10, in John Justin Arena, built on growing momentum, with an average of $41,641 and 82% horses sold, including four at $100,000-plus for a total of 14 sold for six figures, in the first two days of sales.
Wood U N Me Baby LTE $172,628, consigned by Brumbaugh Ranches, was The Evening Session’s high-seller at $165,000. Purchased by Alvin Fults, Amarillo, Tex., the 8-year-old Nitas Wood daughter sold with an embryo, conceived in March, by Metallic Cat. Out of You N Me Baby, by Smart Mate, Wood U N Me Baby is a full sister to Woodys Baby LTE $391,514, by Nitas Wood.
The Metallic Choice, consigned by Fults Ranch, Ltd, was the Evening Session’s high-selling yearling at $150,000. The Metallic Cat colt, a half-brother to NCHA Open Horse of the Year Ichis My Choice LTE $425,517, as well as to Sueper Trouper LTE $202,138, and The Animal LTE $246,846, was purchased by Rocking P Ranch, Fort Worth, Tex.
Miss Priss Pepto LTE $111,241 sold for $110,000 to Jamie Mitchell, Miller, Mo., with an embryo conceived in March, by Dual Smart Rey. The 9-year-old by Peptoboonsmal daughter is out of Prissie Cat LTE $46,139, by High Brow Cat.
Freezing Hot, consigned by Double Dove Ranch and purchased by SDP Buffalo Ranch, Fort Worth, Tex., was the sale’s high-selling yearling filly, at $100,000. The Spots Hot daughter is a full-sister to Hottish LTE $301,843, out of Stylish Play Lena LTE $289,524, the #2 all-time leading dam of cutting money earners.
