Trey Hunt, 41, Millsap, Tex., an esteemed trainer and coach within the North Texas cutting horse community, lost a courageous battle with brain cancer on May 14, 2017. Hunt, the son of NCHA Senior Sales Executive Bobby Hunt Jr., is also husband of wife Jenna and father of daughter Kay. An NCHA member since 1988, Hunt specialized in starting and fitting two-year-olds and was the NCHA lifetime earner of $179,795.

Trey Hunt’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Sherriff Posse Arena in Weatherford, Tex. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NYCHA.
