Skeezix is addicted to cutting. It all started during the NCHA Futurity, when I found him glued to my computer monitor during the webcast of the go-rounds. It wasn’t long before he started picking cattle, and when he heard announcer Tom Holt call the names of so many “cats,” he wouldn’t budge from my desk until I promised to research his pedigree and see if he was related to any of them.

Lately, he’s been studying the NCHA Rule Book and insists that he wants to attend the next Judges’ Seminar. When I asked him how he was going to pay for it, he said that he’d write a column for this blog.
