Button Down Supercat and Wesley Galyean marked 226 for a half-point win over Sweet Lil Amanda and Matt Miller in the Breeders Invitational Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma May 15.
Galyean and Button Down Supercat also won at the Bonanza earlier in the year, and then went on to make the Super Stakes Classic finals. Owner Steven Feiner placed fourth in the Non-Pro Super Stakes Classic on the 5-year-old mare.
Bred by Paul Dean’s Cross Timbers Cutting Horses, Button Down Supercat is by Dual Rey out of Dean’s NCHA Futurity champion Highbrow Supercat. High Brow Supercat’s babies have now earned more than $950,000. They include Lil Rattler, a 2009 full sister to Button Down Supercat that Galyean and Feiner showed to earn more than $328,000.
Button Down Supercat’s earnings now stand at more than $188,000.
