Parke Greeson, 2015 NCHA Rookie of the Year, won his first championship in Will Rogers Coliseum April 5 in the Rios of Mercedes Amateur finals at the Lucas Oil Super Stakes Classic in Fort Worth. He marked a 218.5 on Rumorhazzit, a One Time Pepto gelding bred and owned by his parents, Milton and Bridey Greeson.
Grace Ann Vangilder scored 218 for the reserve championship on Smooth As Puddin, by Smooth As A Cat.
Greeson, 24, was also an Unlimited Amateur finalist with Rumorhazzitt, and he placed fourth in the Super Stakes Amateur on Playin With Monty.
Rumorhazzitt is out of Jerries Dual Legacy, a Smart Little Jerry mare that earned $200,000. Graham Amos placed fourth in the Open NCHA Futurity on Jerries Dual Legacy, and Bridey Greeson made it to several Non-Pro and Amateur finals on her.
Parke Greeson was reserve champion at the Cattlemen’s Classic on Rumorhazzitt this spring. with his successful show at the Super Stakes and Classic, his career earnings will top $35,000.
