Jodie Kidd of Kennansville, Florida, and Wood U Stop worked deep in the first set and marked a 217 to win the $35,000 Non-Pro finals of the 6666 Ranch NCHA Eastern National Championships in Jackson, Mississippi on Monday.

Matthew Coldiron on Aristo Jazz and Doug Secrest on Copencougarhagen shared the reserve championship with a 216.5.

It was the first major win for Kidd, who was a Non-Pro Classic finalist on Wood U Stop at Augusta last year.

Wood U Stop was reserve champion of the Congress Derby with Josh Dozier and has now earned $60,000.
